PLAYDEAD Annual Benefit Concert

Play Dead! A benefit concert in celebration of dogs and Grateful Dead

Come join us at GreenLife Family Farms for an unforgettable event on Saturday, October 7th, 2023! Get ready to groove and wag your tails at Play Dead! as we come together to celebrate two of life's greatest joys: dogs and the legendary Grateful Dead - all while helping raise money for charity!

There’ll be songs to fill the air from noon to 11pm featuring an eclectic blend of local and regional talents, adoptable dogs in a pile in the barn from a local rescue, a shakedown street full of local vendors and their crafts, a silent auction, and plenty of food and drink options from local food trucks and breweries .

Play Dead! is not just about music; it's also about making a difference. This year, with help from our friends at Habitual Roots, a local nonprofit dedicated to mental and emotional wellness, we’re raising money for K9’s For Warriors.

Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors provides highly-trained Service Dogs to Military Veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma. With the majority of dogs coming from high-kill rescue shelters, this innovative program allows the K9/Warrior team to build an unwavering bond that facilitates their collective healing and recovery.

So mark your calendars and bring your friends, family, and of course, your four-legged companions for a day filled with tail-wagging fun. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate the joy of dogs and the timeless music of the Grateful Dead. Let's make this a day to remember!
